Art

Coming up with this basic sketch myself, I thought that it looked very appealing with a creative slash wound effect. Like the way the lines cross over each other.

Also sketching this myself, the thing I like about this sketch is that it stands out well with multiple colours and has tracing effect in the background. Like the multiple colours included creating a rainbow effect.

Design

One of my favourite logos I shot was the Godskitchen logo when it was coming to Melbourne. It has an appealing effect on the logo and I like the way the yellow stands out well with the black background.

I took this shot from a logo magazine and what I like about this is it has an effective logo with a typical Western style design. The cowboy and the horse in the background stands out perfectly with a lasso border. The text matches perfectly the logo with a Western style font and the background is also appealing with a timber style texture.

Nature

Taking this shot on a fine sunny day, what I liked about this image is it represents a typical nature background with red gerbras in the background and the close up of one standing out well.

This is another nature background image I took on the same day. It represents an unusual Nature background with plenty of bark around with multiple balls of grass.

Fashion

What I liked about this jacket was not only it was designed by FCUK but the way the light blue stripe and logo on the left sleeve stood out. It's creative and represents a sporting jersey design.

The T-Shirt which is also designed by FCUK has a very appealing text design. It has a graffiti style to it symbolizing action. Like the way the arrows point in different directions.

Historical Visual Style

What appeals me about this movie poster is it has an effective historical design with the flag, cannon and main characters blending well together in the background. The text is very eye catching with a 19th century style font.

This old advertisement I saw displays a typical 1970s/1980s design. It is very original with a white border and the text is more of a typical retro design.

Font

This font I found displays a medieval-gothic font design which matches the background well. The crucifix in the background stands out well.

Another eye catching font I found displays a horror/halloween type font which stands out well in the black background. The Zombie and Holocaust texts are very appealing and both will stand out well on book covers and advertisements.

Visual Mark

One of the most creative visual marks I found was this mountain landscape background. To me I find this eye catching and like the way the cracked ground texture blends in with the mountain landscape background.

This Visual Mark Displays professional graffiti design. The characters have a spooky effect to them and I like the way they are designed as graffiti.

Popular Culture

This T-shirt I found has an engaging and appealing design. It displays an army type design with multiple colours displayed. Like the way multiple images are displayed on the T-shirt.

Another appealing t-shirt by FCUK I found displays well laid out text. The font is professional looking and is not too bright to view.
